Release 10.6 focuses on various new features, enhancements, bug fixes, and integrations.

• New Features
  • Cisco Intersight integration as a provisioning platform & software provisioning platform for VMware Virtualization, Bare metal & Pure Storage
     
• The MyCloud Blueprint module is supported with the Cisco Intersight orchestrator.
• The out-of-box task to execute Intersight workflow in all MyCloud-supported provisioning platforms.
   
• The new Swagger API documentation and portal make it easy to test and execute MyCloud v3 APIs.
   
• The JS library has been enhanced with an intelligence feature that simplifies UI creation by providing a method and variable details.
• A tab drag and drop feature has been added to the Dynamic UI designer that allows users to change the order of the tabs.
   
• Provisioning of VMs through OVF template from content library vCenter 

• UI/UX Enhancements
  • The Blueprint UI has been enhanced to support
    • Multiple objects mapping to the same object.
    • Update the object relation in accordance with the selection of a variable in Ansible.
        
• CI Report has been updated with a mandatory filter for

• Adding or updating UI parameters for failed process workflow tasks is now possible.
• The Manage Job and Request Task management screens have been modified to display formatted JSON/XML requests/responses to enhance visibility.
     
• Enhancements to the user interface of the custom table detail screen to make use of rich icons.
   
• Enabled mapping and display of blueprint variables within the process workflow based on the defined parameters in the blueprint.
• New columns have been added to the Request task tracking screen to distinguish between provisioning and day 2 operations.

• Performance Enhancements
  • The Release/Reserve IP screen has been enhanced to support the release of bulk IPs and the reserve IP.
  • All jobs are enabled by default; no need to enable jobs after endpoint creation.
  • Enhancement to orchestrator's Ansible task to handle the new status "Waiting".
  • Enhancements to the object ownership/delegation to capture and display the object's history to the MyCloud provider.
  • Reset/Reinitiate performance jobs in the event of job failures by configuring performance job behavior.
     

     

  • Provide functionality to override existing process workflow during import.
  • Caching of rotation keys in all components to minimize KRS service calls.
  • Enhancements to the Secret Key control to capture input from multiple rows in Cisco Intersight.
  • Configuration of MyCloud jobs to fail/timeout when the maximum timeout is reached.

• Component and Service Enhancements
  • The ability to configure execution rules for actions has been introduced. An action will appear on my object screen whenever it meets the rules criteria.
  • New out-of-the-box tasks have been added to the orchestrator for the Generic endpoint platform to execute Blueprints.
  • The Schedule Script has been enhanced to include
    • Support for parameterized scripts.
    • Execution of scripts on demand.
  • The capability of delegating CI objects to RBAC groups.
  • An ITSM request parameter can now be mapped to SQL function in process workflow notifications of success or failure.
  • New JS variables have been added to the UI library to return generic global parameters such as Organization code, Platform code, Region name, User ID, etc.

• Other Enhancements
  • Incorporated GCP into the generic endpoint.
  • The organization resource and network assignation screens have been modified to ensure filter consistency across the application.

• Fixed the requestor dashboard to ensure consistent sorting of widget data.
• An issue with the bulk data paging popup in the public cloud billing analyzer report has been resolved.
• Added input file format validation during UI template import.
